Where form meets function.
This popular spatial audio format places sounds in specific locations in a three-dimensional space. This gives you the impression that sound moves around you - like a bullet in your favourite Netflix thriller whizzing right past your shoulder.
This format also uses object-based audio to create immersive surround sound that moves around you. With DTS:X technology rain sounds like it is falling from ceiling to floor rather than just being heard above. Experience it through IMAX Enhanced on Disney+.
Surrounds you in captivating sound, bringing audio to life like never before. Experience music as the artist intended and feel as if you're at a live concert.
Delivers immersive audio experiences through its support for spatial sound, enabling listeners to perceive sound from multiple directions as if they were in the environment.
This virtualisation technology converts audio from mono/stereo sources into multi-channel, expanding the soundstage and creating an immersive audio experience.

In a market brimming with options, the KEF XIO soundbar distinguishes itself through a blend of innovation, technology and design, making it a standout choice for audio enthusiasts. Here’s how XIO sets a new standard:
1. At the core of XIO is KEF's top-tier acoustic technology. Equipped with the groundbreaking KEF Uni-Q MX and P185 LF drivers, supported by VECO technology, the XIO soundbar delivers an unmatched immersive audio experience.
2. XIO is at the forefront of spatial audio technology, supporting a wide range of codecs including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and SONY 360 Reality Audio.
3. XIO features an advanced version of the W2 wireless connectivity suite, providing superior performance and reliability over its competitors. This allows seamless integration into any home setup without the clutter of wires.
4. With a modern design, the XIO soundbar boasts a sleek, contemporary look that complements any space. The soundbar features a premium grille fabric and an aluminum top panel that not only enhance its visual appeal but also contribute to its durability and functional elegance, drawing inspiration from contemporary interior design and architecture.
With these features, XIO not only excels in audio performance but also integrates beautifully into the aesthetic of any modern home, making it a top choice for users seeking the best in sound and design.
Connecting your XIO soundbar to a subwoofer can enhance your audio experience by adding depth and impact to the sound. You have two convenient options for connecting a subwoofer:
1. RCA Subwoofer Output: Utilise the RCA output on your XIO soundbar to connect any standard wired subwoofer. This provides a reliable and direct connection.
2. Wireless Subwoofer Output via KW2: For a seamless wireless connection, use the KW2 RX Receiver, which is ideal for KEF subwoofers. Simply attach the wireless module to the back of a compatible subwoofer to enjoy a clutter-free setup.
Both methods ensure easy integration and optimal performance, allowing you to customise your home audio environment according to your preferences.
Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Sony 360 Reality Audio are advanced object-based audio technologies that create immersive soundscapes by placing sounds in a three-dimensional space. Unlike traditional surround sound, these codecs allow audio elements like raindrops or footsteps to come from specific directions, including overhead, enhancing the realism of any audio experience.
The KEF XIO soundbar supports all three codecs, a rare feature in soundbars that ensures users can enjoy the latest advancements in cinematic and music audio technology. This comprehensive compatibility enhances movies, music, and games by providing an unparalleled immersive audio experience, making XIO a premier choice for high-end audio enthusiasts.
