Following their introduction in late 2020, both models in the LS50 Collection have earned the best-in-class accolade with KEF LS50 Wireless II being named as Best Product, Wireless Standmount Loudspeakers 2021-22 and KEF LS50 Meta selected as Best Product, Standmount Loudspeakers 2021-2022.

Both models impressed with the application of the 12th generation Uni-Q driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology – a revolutionary KEF innovation designed to eliminate unwanted sound from the rear of the driver. This highly complex maze-like structure sitting within each model, absorbs 99% of the unwanted sound from the rear of driver, compared to around 60% absorption from loudspeakers using different approaches.
In addition, the KEF KC62 subwoofer was judged to be the very best in EISA’s HiFi Subwoofer 2021-2022 category.
This incredibly compact subwoofer was created using KEF engineering know-how including the pioneering Uni-Core™ technology. This innovation allowed KEF engineers to create maximum bass in minimum space. Uni-Core combines both back-to-back drivers into a single motor system with overlapping, concentrically arranged voice coils. The result is a high-performance force-cancelling, space-saving design with no compromises.
